VREID release ‘Noen Å Hate’ single
Recently Vreid put out the digital single called ‘Noen Å Hate’ This track is a classic Norwegian rock track by the legendary Norwegian Rock band Raga Rockers. The track was recorded in October 2009, in their own Studio 1184. This is a song the band played frequently live in the early days, and is a favorite among the band members. The single also contains the live audio tracks of the songs ‘Svart’ & ‘Speak Goddamnit’ from their forthcoming Live DVD entitled “Vreid Goddamnit”. Via iTunes you can also get the full artwork and digital booklet when purchasing all three tracks! The upcoming DVD, contains the complete show at the Inferno Festival 2009 at The Rockefeller in Oslo, as well as loads of extra material. “Vreid Goddamnit” is due for a spring/Summer 2010 release.
The Pitch Black Brigade were formed back in 2004, and has marched on ever since without looking back. Four albums and 200 shows later they have established themselves as a strong force with an unique sound, and a massive live act. They operate in a landscape where Norwegian extreme metal has entwined with classic rock rooted from the 70ties & 80ties, and has been dubbed as Black & Roll.
Their latest Album “Milorg”, released through Indie Recordings early 2009, has become their greatest success and a monument for the band. The press gave it raving reviews, and the band worked the album by doing more than 50 shows. They did an headlining European Tour, joined Death metal veterans Pestilence as special guest on their comeback tour, played main stage at major festivals such as Wacken, Brutal Assault, Zwarte Cross, Summer Breeze, Inferno & Oslo Live, as well as doing a very successful 4 weeks North American tour.
For 2010 the band will do some selected shows like the Bylarm in Norway, Metal Hammer Fest UK, Metal Royale Festival Denmark, Ragnarok Festival Germany, Fiesta Pagana Festival Switzerland to name some, while they are working hard on their 5th Opus, that will be out early 2011.
