Following the critically acclaimed release of second album “Black Magic: All Mysteries Revealed”, Year Long Disaster announce a run of European dates in June 2010.
Since their formation in late 2004, Year Long Disaster have channeled the bastardized muddy blues stomps of their forefathers and overlaid them with their own flash and drama. Their 2007 self-titled debut landed them tours with The Cult, Velvet Revolver, and the Foo Fighters, as well as praise from critics and fans alike, including Motörhead’s Lemmy Kilmister (with whom they also toured) who told Kerrang! Magazine that “Year Long Disaster plays rock and roll music like rock and roll should be played.”
Year Long Disaster are a stunning live band. Fresh from a support slot with Karma To Burn in April 2010 as well as playing the Dutch Paaspop festival, the band have announced the following dates:
4/6 – Rock am Ring (Germany)
5/6 - Rock im Park (Germany)
6/6 - Berlin – White Trash (Germany)
7/6 - Hamburg – Molotov (Germany)
8/6 - Utrecht – Helling (Holland)

Shadow Gallery, known purely as a studio band until this point, has released 6 albums while the members juggled other music-related jobs and careers with their recordings. After the lost of their original singer Mike Baker in October 2008 due to a sudden heart attack, the band vowed to honor their fallen band mate and the fans who loved him by moving forward. They found singer Brian Ashland who stepped in to add his own graceful style to “Digital Ghosts”.

With a foot planted in beloved magic of the sixties and seventies and adding a portion of their longing souls for the fjords and mountains back home on the west coast of Norway, the nearest comparison musically would be something like psychedelic-stoner-folk-rock. The Spirits of The Dead debut album was recorded and mixed in Grand Sport Studios by Christian Engfeldt and mastered in Sterling Sound, New York by George Marino (of Led Zeppelin and Jimi Hendrix fame)
Spirits of The Dead consists of Ole Øvstedal (guitars), Ragnar Vikse (vocals), Geir Thorstensen (drums) and Deadly Nightshade (bass, keyboards) The band was formed by Ole and Ragnar early 2007, and later joined by Geir and Deadly Nightshade.

Starting in early 2009 in between a rigorous Municipal Waste touring schedule, guitarist Ryan Waste began working on a new project entitled Volture. As a longtime fan of bands like Mercyful Fate, Heavy Load and Judas Priest he thought it would only be appropiate to form a proper band in that vein. With only a few rehearsals it quickly became a reality and the electricity of Volture is currently spreading fast!

Alter Bridge have finished recording their third album, although no release date has been set.
The band say: “We are pleased to inform you that the recording of our third album has been completed. It was an amazing journey and we believe that the songs that we have created are our most inspired and dynamic work to date.
“The next step in the process will be mixing, which will begin in mid-April, in New York. The mixing will probably take a few weeks and once that is finished, we will begin the difficult task of deciding which songs will make the album. The goal is to release the album in September, before our planned October tour in Europe that will start in the UK.”
Vocalist Myles Kennedy is, of course, committed to touring as part of Slash’s band.

Norway’s 1349′s upcoming fifth full length, “Demonoir,” which will be released by Indie Recordings throughout Europe on April 26, and by Prosthetic Records in North America the following day, was recorded at Studio Nyhagen, deep in the woods in Norway with Tom Gabriel Warrior (Hellhammer, Celtic Frost, Triptykon), who showed the greatest respect for the task and played a key role as motivator and catalyst. His technical role of the recording was that of a co-producer, but far more important was his presence and understanding of what a challenging project “Demonoir” was.
