CAESARS ROME ready to release “The Company We Keep”

January 6th, 2010

With influences ranging from Thrice, Jimmy Eat World and Brand New to Hot Water Music, Ceasars Rome from Wales achieve a “wall of sound” with catchy verses followed by anthem-like choruses. Since their foundation in 2007 they have kept their consistent line-up featuring Jonathan Hopkins (guitar/vocals), Kyle Smith (guitar), Richard Berry (drums) and Ashley Cocco (bass).

In their first instance Ceasars Rome won XFM Radio’s Unsigned Artist Of The Week that got them regular national plays. Soon after they did a BBC RADIO 1 Live Session including the recording of four tracks live and a live interview on the Bethan Elfyn Show in Wales which led to national plays on the Huw Stephens show. On several occasions Ceasars Rome were main support for their friends Funeral For A Friend (the above photo was taken by singer Matthew Davies-Kreye) and also supported bands such as InMe, Innerpartysystem and Twin Atlantic and The Xcerts.

Their debut-album “The Company We Keep” was recorded with Romesh Dodangoda (Manic Street Preachers, Kids In Glass Houses, Funeral For A Friend, The Blackout) in Long Wave Studios in Cardiff.

“The Company We Keep” will be out in Europe on February 22nd, check out the brand-new “High On The Nines” on their myspace.
