Petting Zoo Propaganda offers Euro-wide promotional services to record labels and artists. These services include press promotion and marketing support for in relevant media. We also take care of press/guestlist coordination for artists on tour, at festivals/shows etc.

The Petting Zoo was founded by Maria Ouellette and Marc Grewe in Berlin (D) in 1998, as the ‘European office for Relapse Records’ but not exclusive. Quickly other record labels found their way to our office for promotional services: Peaceville, Black Mark, Music For Nations, Snapper Music, Visible Noise etc.
The Petting Zoo expanded and moved to Hannover (D) in 2000 to be the in-house pr team for SPV GmbH (Steamhammer) and also remained a promo agency for Relapse Records and record labels (with SPV distribution).
In 2003 the Petting Zoo moved to Eindhoven (NL), where Frank van Liempd (photo) continued the company. Frank started as a Petting Zoo intern in Berlin in 1998, previously doing pr for the Dynamo Open Air festival in Eindhoven. Still handling pr for Relapse Records (until today), but also working with record labels SPV, InsideOut Music, Roadrunner, Sony, Volcom, Indie Recordings, Rise Above and many others (see below) through the years.
The Petting Zoo has also done pr for various festivals, see below for reference.
Moving forward 27 years since Berlin 1998, the Petting Zoo has been active in Tilburg (NL) for many years, and is still working with record labels and artists worldwide as well as festivals and has earned it’s stripes in the European music industry.

The Petting Zoo goat logo was designed by/in cooperation with Costin Chioreanu from Twilight13 Media, known for his amazing artwork and music videos for many rock and metal artists worldwide (At The Gates, Ihsahn, Napalm Death, Candlemass and many more).
Want to receive promo material? We work with print, online, radio and TV. When applying, always send us a link and some infos about the media you work for. All record labels and artists we work with use digital promotion, we use Promo Jukebox to send new music to media. All digital advance music is watermarked and traceable in case of abuse/leaking.
